Why it is important to cuddle and brush up your dog
First of all, I’d like to thank for the professional attitude and good care that my entrusted dog received at the Boyana Veterinary Center (Directions) and in particular from its owner, Dr. Petrov.
Well, when you cuddle, pet, brush up your dog (kitten or otherwise) you are in close contact with the animal and you can feel any changes in the body – be it a tick, a wound, skin problems, as well as an enlarged belly – such as a water ball.
I called Dr. Petrov. “Get him at once!” – he said. After a thorough examination of the internal organs, it was found that there is free fluid in the abdomen, as a result of heart failure that occurred in the last 3-4 days.
- In the car back seat, on the way to the emergency vet
- Diagnosis of dog Tino with ultrasound of the internal organs
- Results of ultrasound and abdominal puncture
- dog Tino during the free fluid withdrawal procedure
- 1.3 liters of plasma was withdrawn from Tino’s abdominal cavity
As a first step to improve the animal’s condition, we proceeded to drain (I assisted by holding the dog and speaking him kindly) the 1.3 liters of fluid/plasma that had filled the abdominal cavity.
So, the boy is now relieved. Look at this guy!
